In 2004, they formed "The Sensational Jewels" and have wowed audiences with their shows ever since. They have an eclectic mix of contemporary songs, creating the kind of show you'd expect to see in Las Vegas. Their venue is suitable for theaters, country clubs, resorts, supper clubs and private parties. The Sensational Jewels perform their fabulous numbers with lavish costuming.

Kristi    King

Kristi 's mom was a professional singer, so  she nurtured Kristi's singing at the tender age of 9 with the help of one of the best vocal coaches of all time, Al Burkman, who also taught the Mouseketeers and the Christy Minstrels. Kristi started singing professionally in Portland, where she debuted her first nightclub act. She did lots of television and radio shows and headlined for three years at the Oregon State Fair when she was only twelve. After high school graduation, she decided to move to California but first took a detour to Chicago Illinois, where she became a Playboy Bunny and then lead singer for Playboy's 'Girls of Rock & Roll' show at the Maxim Hotel in Las Vegas. After this, Kristi and her mom starred in their own show as the original Jewels at the Dunes Hotel for a sold out crowd. It was one of the last shows in that hotel because it was demolished soon afterwards!  In 2008, Kristi was approached by the seasoned jazz producer, Joan Merrill,  because he was looking for a Doris Day singer and considered Kristi perfect for the part. In fact, all of her life Kristi had been told that she looked and sang just like her. So she felt honored to perform the Doris Day Tribute for Doris on her 89th birthday. She eventually met Wendy Douglas in the group 'Celebration' (after Kitty Murray had performed with them.) She went on to sing with various celebrities such as Robert Goulet and the Smothers Brothers. Kristi created her own Fox television show when she moved to Palm Springs, featuring fashion and entertainment. Most importantly, this is where 'The Sensational Jewels' launched. In 2004, they performed their live debut at the Annenberg Theater to a sold out crowd and have been entertaining adoring fans ever since.

Kitty    Murray

Right out of high school Kitty began dancing and singing for Disneyland's 'Kids of the Kingdom.' She then spent several years touring around the country with Jonathan Winters, Eddie Rabbit, Clint Holmes, the Smothers Brothers, Rich Little, and Charlie Daniels. Later on she had the privelege of singing for our military troops in the USO. She traveled to Iceland, Croatia, Germany, Italy, and the United Arab Emirates. Kitty appeared in several television commercials and three major motion pictures alongside Robert Stack, Diane Ladd, and George Wendt. Finally, Kitty hosted her own television show on the Fox Network, featuring Jack Nicholas, Connie Francis, and Tony Orlando. Wendy and Kitty performed with a group called 'Celebration' in Japan, Hong Kong, South America, and major showrooms in Las Vegas with Tennessee Ernie Ford,  Bob Newhart, Frankie Avalon, and Bobby Darin. They toured extensively with Englebert Humperdink and Tom Jones. One of their proudest moments was singing for the Bob Hope USO Tour. Kitty and Wendy appeared on television with Carol Burnett, Andy Williams, Bing Crosby, Steve Allen, Flip Wilson, Burt Bacharach, and Don Knotts.  They even recorded an album for Motown Records and performed in the musical Golden Girls in Branson, Missouri.

Wendy     Douglas

Wendy started her singing and dancing career at Sacramento State  College and became Miss Sacramento, then Miss California, and finished top ten in the Miss America pageant. Afterwards, she moved to Los Angeles and got a singing part on the Johnny Mathis show, touring with him all over the United States. After this, Wendy got an acting part on several movies and tv shows such as the Wild Wild West and the Evil in the Deep. She became friends with many celebrities. She became part of the original 'Golddiggers' Dean Martin show featuring Frank Sinatra Jr. and Joey Heatherton. She eventually became one of the Dean Martin girls on his show. Then she met Kitty Murray and they became friends along with Kristi King and have been entertaining together ever since!
